Invention Disclosure

An invention disclosure is a document which describes an invention. The invention disclosure is usually prepared by the inventor, and contains the title, purpose, parts, use, novel features, advantages, drawings, etc. of the invention. The signed, dated and witnessed invention disclosure provides proof and date of invention, is used by a patent agent or attorney to evaluate the invention, and is also used to perform a patent search.
